A laborious day

Whew..!! Never thought all the todo’s lined up for today would follow one another like they were placed on a conveyor belt. Skipping or missing any wasn’t an option. An early morning mail from a prospect set the forecast right and hinted the day will be a grind. The phone died fighting midway and couldn’t be revived as the car charger couldn’t mate properly with the phone. It was a multi tasking day with lesser tools in hand. An eventful and laborious day gone with some really sweet fruits plucked and put in the basket.

I conclude a meeting successful when the conversation playback on your way out of their office and look forward to start concretizing it soon. My afternoon was consumed in such a meeting with a dynamic young person who started his career from the shop floor and learned the ropes on his way up to manage key accounts of his company today. The go getter he is, I know the rest of the pitch would be done by him to his company to acquire our systems. There was no need for elaborate presentations to be made as brief was more for him and once the point was seen we left for lunch. Once ready it would be a system worthwhile.

Tomorrow beckons with yet another round of presentations and meetings. Assisted with my collegues, at a prospect place for final talks…expect it to be a marathon session…!!
