Day 5

The morning made me witness the nastiest accident on freeway enroute to town. Two mint new Swift Desire’s sped past me like they were competing for some formula one grand priz and lost control with one flying atop the divider and landed on the opposite lane of the flyover and the other turned turtle and banged the flyover wall. Luckily for them, the airbags opened in time and both the idiots came out without a scratch. The cars were a mangled mess. More luck for us and the many others following them, for no one crashed against them and lived to tell the tale. Both the morons got the pasting of their life by everyone who had time to stop their vehicle and thought that they just dodged death.
The rest of the journey was never the same with the horrid images flashing back and was evident on Sonu too as he had decelerated noticeably. It took me a while to gather my thoughts back and get ready for the day.
A very productive day followed with my colleagues joining me for an elaborate presentation of our systems at a very important prospect’s place. Teamwork put on display in vibrant colours. I was marveled by their mettle. The packed conference hall reverberated of appreciation and applause. We concluded our day with a feeling of content and accomplishent.
Another day beckons tomorrow… meeting an old friend and client…looking forward earnestly..!!!
