The much awaited gathering of fellow colleagues on Saturday was a stupendous success, going beyond anyone’s anticipation. It was an evening one witnessed metamorphosis, swelling pride, sense of ownership and above all a pledge to redefine limits. My memory betrays to help me remember an event held in the past where the energy zipped to such great heights. The traffic made me and my little one miss the opening of this gala but the crescendo it reached left us dazzled.
The stalwarts were honoured. The best talent received awards and benchmarked quality for future winners to surpass. The new recruits found their idols and I hope their calling. The message went loud and clear, you make the organization…make it the best. An evening which saw beliefs endorsed and trust emboldened. The much needed boost to herald the next phase of growth was kindled amidst the vibrant assembly.
I was particularly happy for the award winners as they truly deserved their recognition. Rohan, receiving the most coveted “Employee of the year” award was an unanimous decision to acknowledge this powerhouse of a person for his project implementation and client servicing skills. The soft spoken and mild mannered Bhushan set an example to his peers by bagging the “Programmer of the year” trophy and proved that good work doesn’t go unnoticed. Dhananjay pleasantly surprised his fellow workers by the greatly desired “Support executive of the year” award.
Abhishek came in to the organization with thoughts like scattered marbles on the foor. His determination to learn and explore newer things and apply them in his work earned him the most promising newcomer of the year which he shared with Trupti, an equally competent colleague and a much liked person in the company. The enigmatic Sopan was voted the most favourite employee of the year.
With spirits soaring high the evening married the night with promises made to scale newer summits.
It was a night where Softlink made a tryst with destiny.
