Day 7

I think everyone should spend some time everyday in absolute silence. Some may call it meditation, but it has always sounded a bit surreal to me. I mean to stay and roam around with your thoughts. Introspect deeply one’s actions and reactions. You will be amazed by the scale and the range of thoughts you can conjure in that concentrated time of pristine silence. The journey time of over an hour and half every morning from home to office is often an attempt at such mentations.
Once you enter your workplace, you are just one another link of a bigger chain. Work begins by reacting to situations resulting in decisions to be executed by some other links. It’s really a task to seek time like you had in the morning while coming to work. The business communication one has over phone or e-mails, keeps your mind racing asking for immediate responses to an extent being impulsive often. Every spoken word or written letter has an equal chance to hit bull’s-eye or misfire. I envy people who have the liberty of quality time on their hands to elicit a reaction. One such person I think, blessed with a sieving mind is my boss.
Creativity spawns when your thoughts are focused and unbridled….!!!
